The XPORT SLX is one of the finest quality scooters available. With the full suspension, it provides a great ride even on bumpy terrain. Although not a speedster at 14 mph, its range is better than most scooters with 24V/10Ah battery packs - around 8 miles. It will climb many of San Francisco's hills with a 160 lb rider. It delivers high quality, reliability and durability in a package that's clearly above the standard.
Feast on the features:
- Brawny 350 watt motor with rare earth magnets delivers maximum power.
- Front & rear shock absorbers let the SLX take on any kind of terrain, on road or off.
- Dual braking system - front V-brake and rear drum brake - stops you quickly and safely.
- Very stylish mag wheels (no spokes to break) with 12.5" x 1.25" tires and pneumatic tubes.
- Rear aluminum luggage rack is a perfect mount for saddlebags or a cargo carrier.
- Front and rear aluminum alloy fenders keep you free and clear of road grime.
- Custom designed seat gives you plenty of support.

Mini-Review

Subject: Re: HCF-707 Controller
Getting wet is the only thing I know that has ever caused the HCF-707 controller to fail. I take the XPORT SLX(HCF-707) food shopping. This is about a 5.2 mile trip. I weight 235-240 lbs. I have another 18 lbs of battery on the rack for extra range, and I carry home about 20+ lbs of groceries. The return trip has a short but very steep hill (steeper than the TERIMNATOR - probably a 'real' 15% grade) plus several 3-4 block long serious inclines. The scooter has never cut-off from over heating or drawing too much current.
I did make the XPORT SLX cut-off 'one time' last summer when I took it on a 18 mile trip (only one 2-3 minute stop) carrying a 260 lb load, with the trip ending with a 1.2 mile climb up the TERMINATOR hill (8-10% all up for 1.2 miles). The scooter cut-off near the top and I had to wait about 10 minutes to limp home. The air temperature that day was 95 degrees F!! - Jerome
