The Tour Easy EZ-1 Owner's Manual will show you how to assemble to this point. Install the included kickstand. Squeeze 3.0 oz. of Slime into the front tube and 2.5 oz. into the rear. (I find that a good strong squeeze equals 1 oz.) Keep tires inflated to the maximum recommended pressure (front = 40 lbs., rear = 65 lbs.) for best acceleration, speed, and range.

Here's a trick. If you get a flat, pump it full of air. Then immediately go for a ride. Often, the Slime will seal the leak so you don't need to patch/replace the tube.

Open the front brake before installing the front bracket and motor assembly. The motor tongue (split plate) will be about 1/4" off the tire tread when properly installed. When the motor is engaged to the tire, the drive roller will press into the tire 1/16" to 1/8". Just enough that the drive roller doesn't spin on the low speed. This mounting system is good for constant use. To remove the motor from the tire for free-wheeling, you might add a bungee or spring to retract it.

Mount the black controller box in place with the quarter coin-sized notch forward. Secure in place with tie-wraps. Then secure the motor wires with tie-wraps so there's plenty of slack. The slack is needed when the front wheel turns from side to side.

Make sure that the circled support/restrainer keeps the chainguard tube from sliding into the sprocket at the arrow. Attach the support/restrainer to the large cushioned clamp.

You didn't receive the sprocket cover. Instead, your local bike shop may have an old sprocket guard that's nearly 1" wider in diameter. It may be better at keeping pants legs from getting greasy. (The sprocket cover still allows a bit.) Tie-wraps may be the easiest way to mount it.

Screw the silver fender support legs to the unused holes. Use black zip-ties to hold the fender in place (not white ones).

Behind the silver back support leg, next to the frame, is a spacer. Replace it with the rack support leg when reinstalling the screw. The rack comes with a 'U' bolt to secure it to the frame.
