Custom battery hangers for electric bikes
We're always trying to find a better way to do things, and we think we have the answer for SLA batteries. This is an elegant solution.

- Lower center of gravity. Your bike will not feel “top heavy”, so is safer and easier to handle both when riding and when parking.
- The rear carrying rack is now free for other uses
- The batteries are completely out of your way during normal use. That makes it easier to get on and off the bike since the batteries are not directly behind the seat. Leaves room for your leg to swing over.
- Your bike will be less apt to fall over when parked on a kickstand.
- The battery hanger system will work with most all brands of rear carrying racks

Our hangers connect to the axle at the bottom and to the rack at the top. The batteries hang way down to lower the center of gravity, making for easier handling. Hangers work with 12V 10AH (standard on RoadRunner and Sparrow) and 12V 12AH (standard on Phoenix) SLA batteries.

Note: Brackets will not work with quick-release rear wheel unless you are replacing the quick-release rear wheel with a rear motor. If you have a rear suspension bike, brackets will fit as long as the bike rack to which the brackets attach connects to the frame below the seat rather than the seat post. In other words, the rack must move with the suspension -- it cannot be connected to a moving part (axle) and a non-moving part (seat post).
